Individual Counseling
I see adolescents and adults, ages 14 and up, for individual counseling.
Sessions are 50-55 minutes long.
Cost
First session for new clients: $200
Individual 50-55 minute session: $150
For those not using insurance, I do have a sliding scale to make mental health care more accessible. Cost depending on availability.
I am an in-network provider with Premera Blue Cross, Lifewise, Regence, First Choice, and Kaiser PPO plans.
Some plans may provide out-of-network benefits, and I am willing to provide a receipt that you can use to file for reimbursement from your insurance company. It is your responsibility to check with your insurance company to confirm benefits.
A note on using insurance:
Insurance companies require a diagnosis on file to reimburse for services. That diagnosis may or may not remain a part of your health care records for an indeterminate amount of time. Insurance companies also reserve the right to audit treatment, determining length of sessions and frequency of appointments. I will always advocate for the best care for my clients; you are invited to be aware of the role your insurance company may play in that process.
At this time all of my sliding scale spots are full. If you need a low-cost option for therapy, I recommend MEND Seattle, located in Lower Queen Anne. For prospective clients, I offer a 15 minute phone consultation at no cost to you. During this time we will see if we are a good fit, and if not, I can help refer you to other providers.
